What do Leopard Geckos eat? Do they need Vitamins? Here those questions will be answered. Leopard Geckos can eat a few different things, but I am going to stick to the most regular ones. That is Mealworms, Crickets and Superworms. Mealworms are little worms that  look like this                                              This is the actual size of a small mealworm. There are also bigger mealworms that are put on                                                 steriods. No one had ever said these harm their Geckos, but it is safer to just stay away from them. A baby                                                 should be feed 3 every day and  a Adult should be feed 12 every other day.

Everyone should know what a Cricket looks like so I am not going to put a Picture of one. I think that  when people think of Crickets they think backyard. Do not do that. If you ever caught a Cricket and gave it to your Leo it would harm it. Crickets that are out doors have been throught pesticide and chemicals before. This also explains why you cannot take a Leopard Gecko outside.  You can find Crickets at a Petstore too. They come in different sizes. Small, mediem and Large. Medieum is best. A Baby should get 1 Cricket every day an Adult should get 5 every other day.

Superworms are like giant mealworms that have no been put on steriods. They are naturaley Large. Again I will not post a Picture. Super worms are 1-2 inches long. Babys CAN NOT eat these. It could kill them instantly. These are way to big. Adults can eat them though. Adults can have 3 alone every week. They can have them with nothing else.

Vitamins are important to any lizards diet but I am focusing on a Leopard Gecko. They get their vitamins by Calcium Dust. You can either put this on their Crickets or put it in a Water Bottle cap and set in in their cage. You can also do both.
